Dona Abdo

Dona is an associate with L&B Law Group. In 2018, she earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School Los Angeles, and in 2014, she earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA. During law school, Dona was on the Dean’s Honor Roll and a member of the Armenian Law Students Association. She also worked for a civil litigation firm, focusing primarily on personal injury, products liability, complex litigation and immigration law.

Dona is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, including the Barristers/Young Attorneys sector, the Trial Lawyer’s Charity, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. During her spare time, Dona is an avid philanthropist, who volunteers for Make a Wish Foundation, Food on Foot, No Kid Hungry and Hashtag Lunch-Bag, and is a board member for the Young Warriors non-profit for fatherless children. She also speaks fluently in Armenian.

Dona is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Jackson DeWolfe

Jackson earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2018. In 2015, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University, where he was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society, Phi Delta Phi Pre-Law Honor Society, and club lacrosse team captain. While in law school, Jackson worked with the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution as a volunteer mediator and conciliator.

Jackson is licensed to practice law in all California state courts.

Elizabeth A. Evans

Elizabeth A. Evans, an associate with the firm. Prior to joining L&B Law Group, Elizabeth specialized in the defense of medical malpractice claims at another litigation firm where , she defended a wide array of physicians and healthcare facilities, both in civil litigation and in front of the Medical Board of the State of California.

Elizabeth obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2011, where she served as Managing Editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008 and was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society.

She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Pasadena Bar Association. She is also a member of Ophthalmic Women Leaders (“OWL”), which focuses on the ophthalmic medical industry, both medical practitioners and industry professionals. Elizabeth is licensed to practice in the State courts of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Gregory B. Geer

Gregory earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he was part of the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court, competing against international teams in Washington D.C. Gregory received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with honors, from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, where he was awarded an academic scholarship and the department’s outstanding academic achievement award.

While at law school, Gregory externed for a year for the Honorable Richard L. Fruin, Jr., Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Gregory also worked as a law clerk in a plaintiff’s personal injury firm, as well as for a major insurance carrier, giving him insight into how all sides will approach litigation.

Gregory is licensed to practice in the State courts of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Amy Ifurung-Cook

Amy Ifurung-Cook obtained a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining the firm, Amy worked for several years defending companies in general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and products liability matters.

Amy is licensed to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

John M.C. Reilly

John Reilly is a native of Los Angeles. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA with a double major in economics and political science. While at UCLA, John was active in the school’s official charity, Unicamp, and later became vice president of its board of directors.

After graduating UCLA, John attended Pepperdine University School of Law and obtained a JD in 1991. While at Pepperdine, John earned a scholarship from the Pepperdine Advocates for Public Interest Law and won the Pepperdine London Moot Court Competition. John has been practicing law since 1992 and has focused in several areas of law, including medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, products liability, premises liability, toxic torts, dental malpractice, automobile and fire accidents, and dependency law.

Prior to starting with L&B Law Group in 2018, John did medical and dental defense work where he co-tried cases and participated in mediations. John was also a court appointed attorney at the Children’s Court for over five years and, while there, did dozens of bench trials and handled an extensive case load.

John’s hobbies include traveling, soccer, surfing, and playing guitar.

Zach Schwake

An associate of the firm, Zach Schwake specializes in employment litigation. Zach graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2014. While in law school, Zach participated in an employment clinic where he investigated, mediated, and gave ruling recommendations on employee wage disputes filed with a state agency.

Prior to joining the firm, Zach worked at a labor and employment defense firm, defending employers in litigation as well as administrative hearings and government investigations. Zach has also been a speaker on various employment law topics and has advised human resources departments on proper employment practices.

Zach is licensed to practice in California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Jeannette Van Horst

Jeannette Van Horst is an associate with the firm.

Jeannette has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in nursing and is a Registered Nurse. She received her juris doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in 1993.

She is a member of the California Bar Association and she is also on the alumni board of directors at Southwestern University School of Law.

Jeannette is licensed to practice before all the courts in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Trevor C. Wong

Trevor C. Wong is an associate with the firm and focuses his practice on personal injury and employment litigation.

A native of San Francisco, Trevor graduated from Arizona State University in 2014, where he obtained his Bachelors of Arts degree in Business and was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society. In 2018, Trevor obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While in law school, Trevor worked at a workers’ rights clinic, representing low-income workers in wage theft claims against their employers.

Prior to joining L&B Law Group, Trevor clerked at a family law firm as well as the Public Defender’s Office. In his free time, Trevor enjoys traveling, playing golf, and watching Bay Area sports teams.
